I have worked for THREE WHOLE WEEKS on this one-it took forever to get perfect. I'm sure the scan isn't as good as the original, but please open to full frame.

Mia is a charcter from the Stephen King book, Dark Tower VI:Wolves of the Calla. She is one personality of Sussanah Dean, who posesses many. (Odetta Holmes, Detta Walker, you get the idea.) Weird, I know, but if you're looking for normal in King, you're looking in the wrong place. The reason her legs look sort of funny is because she lost them below the knee. This is a copy of Bernie Wrightson's illustration; I wish I could take credit for the design, because I love it so much.

I would suggest more contrast for starters. Its harder to make out as light as it is.

Suggestions are welcome, but like I said, the origional is MUCh darker.

just adjust it in photoshop or re-scan it, bringing down the brightness and increasing the contrast.

it's horrible, actually-my first REALLY good drawing, and it doesn't scan properly. I just started drawing about 7 or so months ago. I'm very new at this.

I like this piece. Nice attention to detail and there is a depth to it that pulls you in...my only wish is that is was a little darker.
But it's really, really good as it is.

It is darker-at least in real life. Scanners are evil. Thanks so much for the comment!

Thank YOU! Finally, a Dark Tower fan who can appriciate Susannah. Have you read Wolves of the Calla yet? We must palaver for there are other worlds than these. Or was it this? I think it was.
